What is Nutri-Café? It is a web-based nutrition
information portal where students and parents can
access school menus. It is a virtual view of the school cafeteria – it even has the familiar look of a cafeteria – and shows actual food items and prices on a virtual serving line. It lets users view menu choices, choose reimbursable meals or create meals by dragging items and condiments onto a virtual tray. When you hover your mouse pointer over an item, the nutritional value and price of that item are displayed. Once the meal is built, the total nutritional value and price are displayed.
